A best seller for Christmas. Produced using our own fermented, Monkhide fruit wine which is then blended with our Monkhide pear brandy liqueur. It is then infused for 3/4 months with our own special blend of festive spices which includes nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon and a few others. The final taste is incredibly warming, smooth and without any bitterness on the finish. It is fruity and smooth enough to be enjoyed at room temperature or it can be gently warmed on a stove top for the ultimate, indulgent Christmas drink. Your kitchen will have a wonderful festive aroma and if you keep it on a low heat in a crock pot, it can be ready to welcome you home from a Winter's walk.

All our products are produced and bottled in our winery. They are free from artificial colourings and flavourings and they are vegetarian friendly.

Xmas wine

I bought a bottle of Monkland Xmas wine from the Christmas Fayre at Llangoed Hall last year and thought it was delicious. Returned to buy some more this year only to find that the Monkland stall wasn't there ! However have now successfully bought a case on- line so Christmas is sorted !! Nicest Xmas wine I've tasted.

We have been buying Monkhide Christmas wine for over 10 years now and Christmas just wouldn't be the same without it. Smooth and velvety, full of Christmas tastes and aromas, it epitomises the festive season. Monkhide will be a part of our Christmas traditions for many years to come.

If you were wondering what Christmas tastes like then this is as close as it gets. It has a rich spiced flavour and I recommend serving it hot on a cold evening. It is best accompanied with friends and laughter.
